I'm willing to contribute to this module and will be active in the issues queue from now to see if we can kickstart some more development to finish the stable release of the PDB module. I still see a need for a solution like PDB to open up our options for JS frameworks. So far results are encouraging! I am disappointed there's no stable release and development stopped. It is different from a full-stack approach, which calls for the front end and back end to be developed in tandem, leaving less room for expedited changes. With Sanity’s headless architecture, brands have built flexible, multichannel Angular applications, taking their customer experience to new heights. A headless approach involves separating the front end and back end of your ecommerce website to allow for rapid development and customization on each end. To connect the menu items to REST I plugged in this module: Īnd, I'm experimenting with PDB module to power AJAX enhanced content lists. Build Angular projects at speed with Sanity, an open-source API-based CMS for Angular applications. I hope by using a unique menu, I can eventually power more apps routing with more unique menus. This allows me to organize the page view structure in the app, find out what node I'm supposed to call, and return the content for the correct node. I'm organizing the routing to use a Drupal menu, unique to the app. Further reading: The Headless Drupal developer group. Some familiarity with another JavaScript framework, such as React or Angular, may also be helpful.I'm building an Ionic Framework App with a fully decoupled Drupal services API website. In upcoming posts we’ll dig into specific use-cases and techniques for building headless websites, as well as the known risks and downsides. What are the implications of Drupal-backed Vue.js?Īttendees should have experience with ES6/ES2015 JavaScript. How can I work in an MVC paradigm in Vue.js? How can I foster communication between Vue.js and Drupal 8? In this beginner session, well talk about the discoveries and hurdles of building an Angular-based LMS while leveraging Drupals stability as a framework. How can I build a fully decoupled single-page Vue.js application? Here are some of the questions we'll answer together: Get started in minutes with Strapi and Angular. Strapi is a new generation API-first CMS, made by developers for developers. The 1 headless CMS to build powerful applications with Angular. Then have designer types be able to GET JSON and have their way with it based on a base set of angularjs controllers, services, directives, etc, and templates. We will demonstrate creating a single-page Vue.js application, and how it can be use to build a decoupled architecture with Drupal as a back end. Strapi allows me to focus on the business logic and features of my application rather than the infrastructure to power it. I am very excited about a headless drupal - one where I can throw up a quick drupal somewhere. This session will introduce you the Vue.js framework and why you might want to chose it for your next project. They blended these together, and made them even better! As a result, Vue.js is lighter-weight, has a virtual DOM that’s even faster than React’s, and has a gentler learning curve. Its creators pulled many of the things developers liked the most from Angular and React: a fast virtual DOM, reactive view components, and Angular-like HTML directives. However, it already has a sizable following, a very positive developer experience, and momentum in its sails. Vue.js is a younger JavaScript framework than the big names like Angular, React, and Ember.
